A Cellist at the Opera

Zlatomir Fung and Dina Vainshtein present a program of virtuoso cello arrangements of 19th-century operatic treasures. Three delightful fantasies by Piatti, and Servais, and Hainl, which all showcase the cello's natural lyricism and versatility, are rounded out by a classic arrangement of Walter's Prize Song from Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg.
