The Evolution of the Violin Sonata:

November 15, 2020at4:00PM (UTC)

These three glorious violin sonatas tell the story of the development of the classical sonata form. From Mozart's masterful invention of the genre to Johannes Brahms expansive version of the same form. The inspired dialogue of two equal voices, performed here by the German duo Kai Vogler and Frank-Immo Zichner. The concert is broadcasted from the concert hall of the "Historical U" building in the city of Pasewalk, located northeast of Berlin. Built for the Prussian military in the 18th century, today it is used as a cultural center.

We would like to thank the city of Pasewalk and the "Musikverein Pasewalk e.V." for supporting this performance.
