Swing Jazz at its Best
Inspired by the works of Django Reinhardt and Milt Jackson, we are excited to bring you this joint program from Joscho Stephan (guitar) and Matthias Strucken (vibraphone). This collaborative project goes beyond jazz, mixing in influences from pop and Latin jazz, that combine together into a program that is truly brave and ground-breaking. Tune in to hear the exciting results!
Joscho and Mathhias will be joined by Sven Jungbeck (rhythm guitar) and Volker Kamp (bass), and will play a mix of their own compositions, swing and jazz standards, and rarely heard songs like Day by Day, Roger’s Samba, Those Who Wait (Tommy Emmanuel), and Morning Dance (Jay Beckenstein). This event comes to you live from King Georg Club in Cologne, Germany.
