Recital for Violins and Piano
with Eri Kang, piano
Gil Shaham is one of the leading violinists in the world today. Performing on some of the world's greatest stages for decades, he has appeared with many of the most prominent orchestras as a soloist and a conductor, and also toured extensively as a recitalist. During the current lockdown in NYC, Gil played at charity events with his wife Adele Anthony, herself an accomplished violinist. The beautiful program they have chosen is born from the spirit of making music at home during the current pandemic. Their performance reflects the intimacy of a life shared as a couple while displaying the virtuosity and flair of world class musicians.
This is a very rare and virtuoso concert program with pianist Eri Kang joining in for some of the pieces.
